RESEARCH PROGRAMS:

Constraints and research problems were identified by diagnostic surveys carried out in 1983 and updated in 2008. Farming systems research approach is followed to give holistic solutions to constraints facing the traditional farmers through multi-disciplinary research teams. Recently, participatory research methodologies were adopted to insure demand driven research outcomes.
